Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience as a baker with a specialization in sourdough bread production.

Barista Duties:

• Greeting guests; answer questions about the menu and ingredients
• Ringing up guests and processing payments
• Following food safety protocols
• Maintaining a clean, well stocked and presentable workspace
• Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of coffee blend, dairy and temperature) and connecting with the guests.
• Prepare cold and hot beverages following RealGood Brunch Co. recipes
• Serve beverages and prepared foods, like cookies, pastries and muffins
• Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
• Communicate guest feedback to managers

Position Overview:

We’re seeking a friendly, guest-oriented, and hard-working person to work as a cashier in RealGood Brunch Co.

Cashier Duties:

• Providing excellent customer service, including being helpful and friendly as well as providing recommendations
• Upselling and making recommendations
• Transactional elements of retail sales, including handling cash and credit transactions, restocking, making sure everything is labelled properly, prepacking packaged offerings
• Assisting with or taking customer orders
• Putting takeout orders in containers or bags
• Maintaining cleanliness in register stations and tables

Cook Job Duties:

Cooks are responsible for providing a pleasurable dining experience for customers by preparing high quality food. Duties range from preparing ingredients to be cooked, to being responsible for cooking all foods.

• Open to close and close to open.
• Prepare food items for customers as requested, including special requests, in a timely and consistent manner.

• Assist wait staff with table setting by providing appropriate tableware, utensils, and napkins.
• Ensure food is served in compliance with safety standards, including maintaining proper temperature.
• Check in with customers, take additional orders, and refill water as needed.
• Clear tables of dirty dishes and utensils in a timely manner.
• Address guest inquiries regarding ingredients and menu items.
• Report customer feedback or requests promptly to restaurant staff.
